That's the mission behind 86 Harassment, a free industry-wide initiative created by Women of the Vine & Spirits to help bars, restaurants, tasting rooms, venues, and beverage companies prevent harassment, educate employees, and provide confidential support when it’s needed most.
Built by the industry, for the industry, 86 Harassment goes beyond compliance training. The platform offers customized education led by organizations including RAINN and Safe Bars Inc., a 24/7 confidential hotline and chat staffed by trained specialists, and a comprehensive resource library filled with practical tools businesses can implement immediately. Best of all, every resource is available free of charge thanks to the support of industry sponsors including Brown-Forman, The Distilled Spirits Council of the United States, Pernod Ricard North America, Republic National Distributing Company, and Spirits Canada.
Organizations across the hospitality industry are embracing 86 Harassment as a practical way to strengthen workplace culture and give employees the tools to prevent harassment before it happens.
